The Doo Wop Jukebox

Entertaining audiences, since 1999. Originally the brainchild of Jerry Allen, A.K.A., Johnny Sparkle (R.I.P). The band updated the name and is now led by Craig Omick. A perennial favorite at church festivals & all the major festivals around the state including Milwaukee’s Summerfest & and the Wisconsin State Fair.    Its members have changed over the years however the quality of the product has continued to excel with 2022-2025 being outstanding years for the band. And, still so much more to go

2026 is setting up to be another classic party with historic, dance music & classic sing along tunes. Bringing back memories or creating quality new ones The Doo Wop Jukebox has a tune for you.

 Calling all lovers of Doo-Wop

This phenomenon was witnessed by me yesterday at The Wisconsin State Fair. The band took the stage and made us all feel young again. No longer were we “Grandma” and “Grandpa”, we became teenagers, dancing our cares away. For a few magical hours, we were back at the old “Dairy Bar”, Rockin’ and Rollin’. For one glorious night we were fifty years younger and alive like “The Wanderer” and “Peggy Sue”. The gray hair, no hair and sagging muscles were gone for the moment. And when a pretty girl walked by, maybe she would see the studs we once were, and for a moment have a glimpse of the handsome guy with a great D.A., who was a great catch fifty years ago.
